You pass down the street, a set of ashy footprints left behind you the only sign of your passage. The street grows narrower, and the fires on either side closer, until the heat is near unbearable and the way seems unpassable. Then a roar comes from your left as rain falls suddenly from the sky for a moment - the edges of a bucket poured from an aircab up above. Steam sears up into the sky, and the flames seem to drag backwards, allowing you to dart through, as the way closes shut behind you.
 You stand in a large square, flames raging to the rear/S and left/W, whilst the right/E and front/N seem relatively untouched. Further to the North however, the fires burn even hotter than behind, the space you stand in seemingly just an air break between the two halves.

EDIT: There are exits on all four sides, although the one behind you is blocked by flames.
