As in title, This fortress is progressing only on stream while RP elements are written here. Do not expect pictures, instead feel free to visit us here, we may be on-line.


I will try to upload past broadcasts on Youtube, as a reference to what the hell is happening, but do not hold your breath. Also if anyone want a dwarf but cannot/don't want to go on stream please tell me what type of dwarf you would want and i will take it into consideration.

Hello, my name is Exodius and I will try to convey events that had transpired in Mebanungeg [Streamfailed].

When I arrived as a part of starting seven I have noticed a complete lack of Streams, as we are in the middle of the dessert, and we definately are not planning to fail either. A weird decision by Expedition Planning Department if you ask me.

Along with me there was Dzinn and Mailooc. Dzinn and I are miners while Mailooc is our mason.

Let me tell you about the site itself, it is kind of important seeing we will be living there for a while. The King was looking to create a Summer Home for himself, a rather stupid to place one in a hot dessert but what do I know, and thus made a extensive survey of the continent. Streamfailed had been chosen as a best candidate. And we cannot fail King for choosing it, there is plenty of gold, silver, copper and tin, it has sand for glass production and is on an island isolated from elves. Everything going well you may say. But you would be wrong, there is a goblin presence here but it is not as terrifying as the real threat. Two, not one, not three, but TWO NECROMANCERS TOWERS IN CLOSE VICINITY. Unfortunately all maps were lost but we can clearly feel their presence.

First thing we have done was to start getting stone tobuild a wall separating us from the rest of the world. For this Dzinn and I started excavating basic dormitory and meeting hall while Mailooc was cutting stones to blocks and build a wall around entrance. After that we cut out a complex for 288 bedrooms, all the bedrooms except noble quarters we will ever need. Now we just need to furnish them. Oooh and we dug out some sand to make farming plots.

After all this it was almost end of the year, we had two migrant waves, in the first one there were more dwarves that had introduced themselves with nicknames, rather rare for this fort I have noticed. ElevenBravo and ZeCatch are our new military, Eleven leading crossbows and Catch leading hammers. with a second wave we have 16 citizens.

By the very end of the year something "interesting" happened, we were raided by the undead. 'Everyone inside!' I shouted taking lead. 'Raise the Bridge!'

We have managed to lock ourselves in and stationed Eleven and his student at the walls.

'What do you see?' I asked curious. Perhaps we will earn our entry to halls of Armok sooner than expected? After all 16 dwarves holding their own against a Dead March is something worth to write home about.

'Ummm... There is just two of them. And I cannot see any of those bastards who raised them. They may be hiding, it's hard to see when the Sun is shining.' Shouted Eleven.

'What? Only two? Should we wait till they call their mates to give them a fighting chance? Or are they just here with cookies to welcome us to the neighborhood?' I chuckled at my wonderful joke, surely I am the true genius when it comes to comedy.

' I would wait, Sir. They may be hiding somewhere.'

And so we waited, until spring arrived.
