In what biome will I find turkeys

Maybe search for them in the raws and make them spawn everywhere, and on the off chance they aren't around, clone chickens, ???, profit.

Think I have read more or less all pages by now. Would not be possible to play this game without it.

You could also bring some with you on embark. It would save a lot of time hunting and hoping. :)

I did, but I couldn't find them in the list on the first two embarks, so I thought maybe they weren't available so I asked the question.  But then I embarked again and found them.
