Minecart Stacking
« on: November 22, 2013, 02:36:01 pm »

Basically, my idea is to create a system like this:

|   m
|   r#
  m
####
(|'s are walls, #'s tracks, r's are rollers and m's minecarts)

to stack minecarts on top of each other. Then you can launch hundreds more of whatever projectile you want (I recommend lava, as it's a replenishable resource) in half the time it would normally take you.

Does anyone see any issues this setup might have?

I've always had trouble with actual stacking. I also can't fully understand your diagram, mainly because of typeface.
Please redo your diagram, using either
Code: [Select]
code or forcing the font to courier

Sorry about that, I should have mentioned it's a side view. Basically, it's a channeled mineshaft the minecart falls through and lands on the same space that's already taken up by a minecart. I'm pretty sure there's a simpler way to do this, though.
