L'aigle mod for Mount and Blade: Warband

Hell yeah. Look at this: http://www.moddb.com/mods/laigle
I didn't realize Mount and Blade could look this good. It's looking to be like a SP Napoleonic Wars.

Was just browsing this earlier today, and go my hopes up, before I realized it isn't out yet.

I can hardly wait to trounce a few limey fops and take a some Cossacks down. Particularly, I'm looking forward to getting away from the heavy infantry and cavalry dependent tactics of good old-fashioned Calradian warfare and its associated mods, and seeing what sort of role artillery will play.

Glanced at it, and came to the same conclusion: looks like NW if they made the models prettier.

If you have the original M&B, there's a pretty good Napoleonic mod for it, although the models and textures are low quality - not due to developer laziness, but because without the improvements to the engine in Warband, the game cannot handle as many NPCs with HQ textures as the gameplay demands, but on the other hand it also features a lot of other cool features (dueling, jobs, social status, influence system that lets you get favors from lords - even enemy lords sometimes, plus some more things).

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.
