XD Hahahahaha! That's exactly how SpiralMadness began its rise to fame. Folks told the player to take an Adamantine Sword out of a Demon tower and the entire thing went to Hell in a Handbasket. The player's first response was "You guys are dicks! I think I just unleashed the HFS on my fort!"

I'm sorry I wasn't there faster to warn ya, but I don't think anything bad happened. You learned a bit, and you'll keep on learning.

I never came to grips with the military system til I did a no-points embark and needed to worry about thieves taking something important. I ended up figuring out the scheduling and alert system thanks to that, as well as what it takes to equip a crossbowman.

I'm still trying to figure out the military, though I manage to get by with a standing army always on the call, bridges, moats, and traps to thin out my enemies.

zombie sieges are very easy to deal with using atomsmashers, so don't worry. It's just that it's not really a good location when you're still new to DF, once you get some skill at the basics it shouldn't worry you.

Good job guys. I heartily approve of what took place here. So, did you get that body parts stockpile up at the depot by the time the necromancers came a-knocking?  :P
