I just have to say, this ...

Like cutting fabric, the adamantine axe had torn the beast completely in twain.  Jacen's weapon now lay abandoned on the floor as he howled in agony and rubbed at his jaw, leaning on the dead body of the limestone cow for support.

"Why did you bite it?" asked one of his more confused-looking recruits.

"It's easy to lose your mind in the middle of battle," Derm replied.  "Sometimes your heart just says, 'bite,' so you bite."

"I have never wanted to bite a rock," the recruit said defensively.  Jacen shot him a dirty look.  "Sir," the recruit added.

... was great. ;) Made me laugh out loud.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Hopefully this doesn't go soaplanterns on us.

With luck, my computer should survive until this fort's proper end.  The next update is underway.

Though Katana is a very agile legendary swordsdwarf armed with adamantine, I'm still going to have another airlock built for you to enter into the caverns.  It's best to have redundancies in case of complete disaster.

If katana's doing this, he'll request that his weapon is studded with gems afterwards.

Did you know that the Russian word for "sock" is "no sock"?
I just saw a guy with two broken legs push a minecart with a corpse in it. Yeah.

A bit of a necro but...
whatever happened to this? It was literally the best community fort I've seen, and then it just died all of a sudden.

Remember those long summers of your childhood? That first kiss in the gardens while crossbows dwarves shoot goblins above your head? The rain of dead birds as the hunters get to work? Truly Spearhills is a paradise.

Oh, man... yeah, I was really sad when this thing died.  My heart jumped when I saw the thread had a new post :P

Maybe people should love for the sake of loving, and not with all of these optimization conditions.
