Goblins have issues...
« on: November 03, 2013, 12:36:07 am »

So i gave goblins adventure_tier and i found that when in any human town, you attack people (companions to) if you walk into you. Which is very irritating since you basicaly have to carefully move everywhere and can get boxed in by your companions. I think this is because goblin civs seem to hate everyone since outsiders dont seem to have this problem, but if im wrong id like to know. (And if theres a solution i would also like to know)

Its because they are babysnatchers. Open the entity file and remove BABYSNATCHER, that should to the trick.

Are you sure about that?  I thought it was the LOCAL_BANDITRY tag that caused that randomly attacking people problem.

Its because they are babysnatchers. Open the entity file and remove BABYSNATCHER, that should to the trick.

You can have babysnatcher civs for adventure just fine, other tags like LOCAL_BANDITRY, UTTERANCES cause civilians to be hostile.

One alternative is to let goblin build towns and hamlets and gen a new world. So you get goblin friends.
