Do any of you know the game Miriani? It is a MUD, set in space, which I've started playing recently.
It can be accessed by telnetting to toastsoft.net on port 1234.

What's it like? I'm curious, I love MUDS and Scifi and its damn hard to find a good scifi MUD.

After playing for a few days, it seems rather sparse - there are few kinds of objects to interact with, they're all oriented towards various things to do in space. The goal of the game seems to be 'get rich and stay alive', gets a bit boring. Compared to Aaardwolf (not a sci-fi MUD, but relevant nevertheless) the world(s) don't have much history or lore to them.

Note, though, that I've played neither Aardwolf nor Miriani for a very long time.

BTW, what are some good MUDs you've found? Not neccessarily sci-fi ones; I would like to find some more MUDs in general to play.

Played Miriani some years ago, most fun I had was installing fireplaces in my ships airlocks.
