Walk into quest pub, look for some beginner quests.

The following quests are currently available:

Goblin-Slayers Wanted
Goblins have invaded Fort Knox! They must want to steal the gold! Reward: 50 Gold Bars. This really doesn't look like a beginner quest.

My Hovercraft Is Full Of Eels
As I was taking my hippo for a midnight stroll, I happened upon my hovercraft. Eels had hijacked it, and are probably close to finding the hyperspace button. You must retrieve it from them before they escape with the stolen vehicle!
