You stand in your beautiful home in the beautiful land of Alcatron. It is all very beautiful, yet you sense something amiss. For one, your neighbour hasn't talked to you in ages. And believe you, he talked. Also, you have spotted several evil monsters wandering around the countryside. Strange! You decide it would be prudent to investigate this matter.

But first, whoest art thine?

Why, I was hoping you'd ask that! THE ADVENTURES IN ALCATRON is (hopefully) going to be an ISG, short for... Illustrated Serial Game? I don't actually know. Also, by ISG I mean ISG-ish. Scratch that, it's a suggestion game with rough doodles in it.

But anyway, why did you make this I hear you ask? Well, I thought that it'd be enjoyable. Hopefully for both parties, but likely just for me. I also would like to hone my animation skills, which as you can see are pretty terrible. It also will warm up my GMing muscles, letting me make much more fun, fresh, unique games in the future.

What's that you say? What will it be about? Well, it will be about slaying monsters and getting loot, like most games of this genre. However, unlike those other games, this one has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Join at your own risk! It also will feature a plot that is made up as I go along, allowing flexibility and dynamism.

It will be done on a standard 20-sided-die, with 1 being the worst possible result and a natural 20 being the second worst possible result, with 19 being the best roll you can get (Of course, if it is not a natural 20 then it won't be an overshoot and instead just even better than 19). The results gradually get better the higher number you roll.

And that's it! The most popular choice will be chosen, and if there's a tie then I will chose the first post out of the two. Also, to clarify, your father's and mother's gear will be your starting equipment. Try to chose an offensive and defensive item, although it is up to you.

Whoops, fixed it. I knew I made some mistake! You will be controlling one character and giving them suggestions. Player list has been removed, replaced with character's stats.

Well, I was hesitant to do so since my 'art' is so terrible it hardly qualifies. But I'll follow your advice, considering that you have a successful ISG of your own
