Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

Welp. Guess I'll wait for the next time someone hosts a 40k RPG.

I suppose I'll tell you what's going on, then. It's...a bit of a mess.

-Yes, there was a Dark Mechanicus cult. They were trying to rebuild a fallen Warlord Titan. Partially the cause of the extra metal, and why most of it wasn't exported.
-There were also two other Chaos cults, one of Nurgle and one of Tzeentch - fighting each other.
-There were also two rival noble houses, both trying to gain control of the city - again, another cause of the lack of metal, due to various administrative errors and such, among other things [like taking some of it for themselves]

-Above all, those two Chaos cults had already infiltrated your group, several players were cultists. Feel free to introduce yourselves.

Yeah, you people who got the "Hey, wanna be a cultist or a spy?" thing? ...I PM'd that to literally everyone.

I wasn't a cultist!
Because the heretic was the moral character :P

Should probably mention that, if you failed to stop them, I would have had you fight the fully-assembled and fully-operational Titan.

I was the Tzeench Cultist.

That buff I mentioned to Xan earlier, I hadn't forgotten the name of it, it was Weaken Veil, which gives a +2 to invoking pychic powers, but cause Psychic Phenomenon on rolls or 8, 9, or 10 to everyone in range.

I was planning on hopefully recruiting Xan, and then summoning as many deamons as possible, but casting both Spasm and Inflict Pain on anyone I found, since both were only half actions, I would have been tearing apart the very fabric or reality by the second.

Honestly I saw that coming.
I'd probably try to reform you, or failing that pretend to convert and then shoot you in the face.

I was a cultist of Tzeench too. Forbidden knowledge and all that. Although, unlike my god, I was flying by the seat of my pants, trying to gather as many contacts as possible.

I was the cultist of Nurgle. Didn't really do anything with it though.

I was going to wait until HighMax attacked you and then tell you, by annihilating his face.
