It's a 78 month trip so far. And it costs less then living in the average western country, because if you bicycle you pay no transport costs, if you sleep in a tent, at friends places and use couchsurfing you pay no accomodation, so whats left is food and luxuries. Luxuries in that case would be anything that I want, but not necessarily need. I can spend 1000€ a month, or I cant spend 200€ a month. I usually average about 500€. Travelling as a backpacker/bicyclist is cheap.
