I'm looking for a good .cbr reader.
« on: August 31, 2013, 09:18:23 am »

So a friend of mine gave me a bunch of comics in .cbr, but I'm not sure what software to use for reading on my laptop. I've tried CBR Reader, but I don't really like it: I find it unwieldy and ugly. So I was wondering if the local hivemind knew of any good reader for .cbr files?

I use the Java version of Jomic, which is free and available at Sourceforge. It's efficient for a Java program, or at least I think it is.

I'd suggest YACReader.  I find it the easiest to use with enough features.

I usually convert them into something else, using something like calibre.
