Pressurizing stuff
« on: March 03, 2008, 11:57:00 pm »

so if i pressurize anything, like a floodgate, as in have a 15z-high water tower above it, will it make the water flow faster when the floodgate is down?

The reason for the question is, i've been thinking of a pressurized repeater, which should work faster than the one on the wiki.

Yes, although your framerate might get devastated.  And, of course, beware of u-bends.

It will indeed flow out faster, in fact with such a large z level drop, it may flow a LOT faster than you want it to.

He he he, I'm gonna seal that engine room and never open it, no u-bends or such. And it can't go faster than i want it to, my pressurized repeater is of different design(the faster water flows - the better), I'll post it on a wiki after a successful test.

[Edit]: I'll probably have 5z high tower at first, and will upgrade it if i need.
