I mostly do electro house, but I've been flirting with drum and bass and dubstep recently, so we'll see what comes of that.

Thanks, that's what I'm aiming for. I'm planning to start work on an album or an EP some time soon so I'm trying to gauge if I'm at that level yet. School is destroying my free time right now, but I have another track ~95% finished that I just need to put a few finishing touches on.

Yeah, Youtube's been screwing up all day. It's been not showing the videos and a bunch of other stuff all day. It's still not showing all my subscribers.

Sorry for the lack of new music. I've been working on an EP that'll have about five tracks or so on it so I wont be releasing anything for a little while. I'm still working on the music for a few hours a day though.

Honestly, it all depends on what sort of mindset I'm in when I'm making a track. Fire took a couple of months to make, but that's partially because I had no inspiration at all (I just started placing stuff down and went with the flow) and I made it in some software I'd never used before (FL Studio). Sometimes I churn the meat of a track out in an evening, it all depends on the mindset I'm in. Of course, a I usually keep a track for fine tuning for a month or two but I don't really class that as time spent making the track, I only open it up about once every few days at that stage to tweak the mix and stuff at that stage. Normally I use Ableton Live to make my music, though. I tried switching to FL Studio when I did Fire but it just feels a lot less natural.
