Consolidating my iTunes Library
« on: September 24, 2013, 06:48:15 pm »

So I recently burned a whole bunch of CDs to my external, then dragged all my external music onto my iTunes...then realized my computer wouldn't be able to play it if my external wasn't in...so I copied it AGAIN onto my computer's hard drive from my external and reimported it. Now I have 20.000 songs, of which probably a third are entries leading to files my computer can't access. I could go in and delete the entries manually...but that would be inconvenient and I have better things to do with my time, frankly. Is there any way to get iTunes to look up each file and delete the ones that don't lead anywhere?

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Herp derp, case closed. Just delete everything and re-import it...
