Turn 10: Rise of Larry

a hazard roll for the shrine room. I would like the floor to be a great pool of acid, with the book and shrine on a pedastal in the middle of the pool. maybe some narrow walkways to get to the book, so they can fall off?

Then, a monster roll for a monster in or near the foyer, or the dining room if the foyer isn't possible. . I'd like the monster to be a sort of evil insectoid thingy, that runs on 6 feet, looks kinda like a sphere. The outer sides of the sphere are very armoured, but it splits into four parts to reveal the insides, which are lined with teeth and tentacles.

(1) The shrine room, it utter defience, does not get a pool of acid. At this point, I switched to a new die, as my current one seems to love ones.


 (4) From the ceiling of the dining room, a strange creature awakens, and lowers itself down on the ground. Its shell is like a thick leather; not quite like chitin, but it will have to do. Its empty eyes search around the room. It can detect vibrations, and begins heading towards the largest source. However, it is just an insect, so it reacts the same way any insect would react. As I do not want to call it “the insect”, its new name is Larry.

Back the frik up! Watch and be ready to throw cueballs if any more strange stuff happens!

Try to catch a glimpse of the creature while my partner throws shit at it.

(6) You back up, moving to get a better angle on whatever that thing was. Your readied cueball will give you a chance to react if something happens.

(6) Moving around the trapdoor, you see that the “thing" is some sort of suit of armor. What makes it different is the fact the eyes cover its body! All the eyes seem to be what made it fall over due to the flare. It looks like its eyes are dilating accordingly, so it doesn't seem out of the fight just yet! The light currently rests inside its helmet. You can't tell what it is though.
You also notice that the trap door is blocked up. You can make out one of companions in there, reloading some kind of gun.

(6) You find button nearby. Well, that was convenient. You press it, and suddenly the door is release. You push it forward, but with such a pressure that it slams on the side. Its unlikely you could close it.
