I vaguely remember something about a main plot and some special soulstar thing. I promptly completely abandoned that and spent dozens of hours faffing about doing every other quest ever. I lost interest right about the time I got to ash mountain and would have had to be serious.

Oddly, the Fallout games were pretty main-quest followable. I've never played any of the other Elder Scrolls games, though.

You can't in the main game, but that's what mods are for.

I don't even use mods outside of bugfixes in Morrowind. Every time I use mods it ruins the fun for me. Might consider texture packs once I get a new computer but then again I think vanilla Morrowind graphics look fine the way they are.
