I have actually begun to wonder about weapon damage. I assume that bona-fide weapons have reasonably scaled damage (I don't ever use them, I'm generally a boxer or shield basher), but what about items not designed to be weapons? Will I do more damage by hitting skeletons with a jade crown or the upper body of a frogman? Does hurling a statue at an enemy deal more damage than throwing a live fly at them? What skills are involved in calculating the damage dealt by a monarch butterfly, anyways?

Non-standard weapons use wrestling and actually increase that skill.

We really need Wrestling Federation for our randomly-generated worlds :-) So the player could play as an 'heel'or 'face'or something, and then do weird things like beating the referee and so on, or brign concealed weapons.

I was actually wondering about the ranged damage of thrown items after I pegged someone in the head with mud and bruised every facial feature, blackened both eyes, broke their neck, and broke their brain.

That never happens when I throw mud in real life.

newb question, how do i view somebody elses injuries in adventure mode(and how do i view my own...)?

You can view someone elses injuries by using the 'l'ook command, placing the cursor over them, and pressing the corresponding key. To view your own injuries, simply press 'z'.
