No minerals at world gen?

I just finished setting up Masterwork, generated a Gaia world, and found that there were absolutely no minerals on the embark screen.  Tried it a second time, and once again, absolutely no minerals.

Is this a glitch?  Do minerals just not show up on the embark screen for some reason now?

Due to a change of how metals are handled, instead of ores we have "stone bearing X", which needs to be processed by the ore processor before actually being used as ores. That also means that it counts as economical stone instead of actual ore, for both stockpile and for the sake of metals in the embark screen. So yeah, it doesn't show anymore.

I've personally haven't really felt it, but then again, I tend to play with mineral scarcity at a 100, which means I have truly ridiculous amounts of metal. :P

Ah, alright.  Thanks a lot!

And yeah, I play with minerals on high, so I guess it won't be an issue. XD

"prospect all" in DFHack is a good way to make sure if you're uncertain.

Yes, the DF embark finder is not smart enough to handle the changes... I dont blame it. I had a look at the issue, but cant find a clean solution. I do have some ideas though.

On a semi-related note, because of the changing from ores to ore-bearing-rock, and the tendency for advfort to never work properly, the ore processors reactions don't port (read: at all) to adventure mode therefor it's impossible to process metals in advfort. Just an FYI for anyone interested.
