Plane of Gravity - Second Ebbing
Late Blinding

There is not much to do yet again, as seems to be custom at blindings - but this time I have a good excuse to fend off that boredom. Redshell shall help me in finding the limits of deception on this plane, a task it relucantly agrees to. Using some standard Deception on it, I give it glimpses of vast vistas, seen and unseen by me - something it found very intruging. Untill I lifted it up to float through these, wich visibly shoock it deeply - later on it explained that is was frightening, because it never did so before. A good piece of information, should that turn out to be a universal weakness of the non-floating planar castes.

Delving further, I show it some of the forms common on my plane - and some uncommon ones too. Obviously peppered with plenty thought-constructs - the more appendages they had, the more frightened the planar seemed. This excursion also left it quite jumpy, and I laid off the deceptions for a while.

It obviously asked extensively about what it was shown, and I assumed the guise of a traveller. But as I was very secretive about it, they should come to the conclusion that I might come from a plane where it is customary to do so. Actually, a plane of secrets is not all that different than my  homeplane, the plane of deceptions. Whatever the truth may be, it is burried afterall.

After a while Redshell was feeling up to the task again, and so I tested sounds and sensations on him. The later was most successfull with, well, pain. A difficult sensation to cast, but not beyond me - the ones involving fire or strong wind did best, whereas others wich seem to only stem from my plane did not so well. The sounds were also most successfull, and after the second batch of them Redshell decided to first convulse uncontrollably and then stay unconcious. Having a single target makes deception just that much easier afterall...
-15 Energy

Sadly, the second group of entrance-watchers did refuse my polite offer of testing deceptions on them. Guess I have to thank Redshell being squeamish for that. Still, this plane is not that bad afterall - I have not used that much energy in countless ebbings.

I really feel on edge after all this deception. Being able to cast it without haste or risk really open ups a lot of new venues.
(Feel free to add 1 Will or 1 Intellect )

Intellect.
We really are a rather under-whelming abomination aren't we?
How large are we?

Suggestion: Soon before the battle, cast the illusions & then morph into our hunter aspect- sacrifice our intellect & will for power & health- We won't be using them after all, being expended & ever so slowly regenerating at that point.
I'd personally go with Power over health, since we already have speed covered, and nice armor plates to bolster our defenses. We need strength to float & cleave.

In the meantime...let's practice doing just that. We want our hunting aspect to look it's finest after all.

We really are a rather under-whelming abomination aren't we?  -  How large are we?
Well, what would you expect from a plane that is named after deception? They are stuck in a mafia-like enviroment all day long. Only that lynching does not occur as often. :P
About our size - we are about 2 Meters in Diameter. Yes, we are a spherical entity. Why? Because the Random Generator said so, when I asked him on creation. ;3
As for exchanging Will and Intellect for other attributes - I fear that this is impossible. They are metaphysical attributes. Shapeshifting is limited to the three first physical attributes. Yes, we would be able to sacrifice health for more energy reserves, but that is quite different, and does not influence "the core" of our being, so to say.

Plane of Gravity - Third Ebbing
Early Glowing

After some time pondering, I find my somewhat low abilities of hunting on this Plane disagreeable. As I would do good to keep my energy at it's fullest for the sake of the battle - presumed to take place next glowing - I will keep to huntery activities for now. The Planars get back to working on the defenses anyhow, and do not seem like they would need my help. Inquiring into the matter, Lord Domenus is of the opinion that I can cleave up as many stalks as I want. According to his drawings, the bigger a mess the surrounding area becomes, the better it might be for next ebbing.

So I float and cleave myself through the surrounding stalky landscape, resting every so often. It really is somewhat fun, and learning to handle gravity further should not be a demerit in any case. Soon enough most of the stalks in the immediate area have a few cleave-marks on them, and countless smaller sidestalks are covering the ground. After some time one of the unimportant planars also comes unto the scene, gathering the small stalks and building what seems to be places of cover out of them. Not a bad Idea I reason, as the other planars might think of a potential ambush being enacted with these. Complimenting the purple-skinned planar on its ingeunity, I carry on with my part of the fun work.

Still, this kind of thing is only able to entertain me for that long, and sometime around the middle glowing I tire of it. The Planars hold once again their ritual, and while they do Lord Domenus informs me that Redshell is still quite shaken by what I showed him at the end. Deciding to keep it to myself just how much I learned, I praise the later for the insights I have gained - and make it a point to say that it will come in handy next ebbing. When I ask Redshell if it really was that bad, it let's loose a shriek and jumps up from the floor. Yes, it really seems quite shaken up.
