Stupid forgotten beast hanging around the water source of my well

A stupid flightless dinosaur forgotten beast sits around at the bottom of the subterranean lake from which my well draws. Luckily, he completely ignored my fishers, but I want to know what a good way of approaching him would be. Also, he breathes fire.
