Welcome to the Family! - Mafia RTD sign-ups!
« on: August 19, 2013, 12:16:28 pm »

Welcome to the year 1925 and the Prohibition Era New York City. It's a time when the partied grew bigger and wilder, the dames were hotter and the city came boosting to life. All this came from the money provided from alcohol sales and the men selling the alcohol have the nicest suits, the newest cars, invitations to the wildest parties and of course the hottest dames. But this all comes with a price, a blood price. The question is, are you willing to pay that price?

I'm not sure having a medic in the mob makes sense, strictly speaking. Just feels really, really wrong to me, considering how mobsters are, by and large, not very educated and from fairly poor backgrounds. Maybe you should merge that into the specialist?

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

We aren't the mob; I'm pretty sure we're the higher up mafia guys. Like Vito Corleone or Fat Tony. I'm pretty sure that they'd want someone to make sure they don't die. I could be wrong though.

You're not a family, you're a crew. As in, a gang of criminals probably answering to an actual organized crime family, which means that having a medic is only vaguely plausible if the guy in question served in WWI in the Navy hospital corps, though why they would take someone like that along on jobs is another question entirely.

You are actually made men, as in members of the family. Though you are in the lowest rank of the family you are not the lowest of the mafia world. Below you are associates, simple street thugs who work for the mafia, yet don't belong in it. Think of yourselves as an enforcer group(One of the rumoured causes of The Valentine's Day Massacre was that a gang had tried to assassinate Capone's enforcer three times.). You won't be robbing stores or stuff like that.

The medic isn't strictly a doctor per say, He can take care of the wounded, but can't heal a gunshot wound for example, that's what the mafia doctor's for.
