Adamantium

I'd like to get adamantium but, every time I get across the magma river, I get wiped out by various demons (never mind the big bad that's supposed to come when you mine too much).

I know it's cheating, but what would I have to edit -- in the raws -- to get (for example) adamantium from elephants? Is it simply a matter of changing remains from "bones" to "adamantium"?

Is that for the adamantine ore, or the refined metal bars?
