Sieges and non-existing world population
« on: August 12, 2013, 02:04:12 pm »

If I generate a 2 year-old world with minimal population, will I still be getting sieges and merchants alike?

I assume so since merchants and in general, sieges, are not pulled from historical figures. However, sometimes a siege might have a general that is pulled from world history, not sure if you'll have that in a siege in such a young world.

Merchants, yes, it's part of civ, but in young world, other civs might be too far away that would be reachable in long gens. Sieges I'm iffy on being a big thing since young world tend to be pretty localized still and doesn't have that much historical figures to lead them nor the population to be a constant threat.

Sieges does happens, but a lot less frequently than longer gen, I've found, but it's a lot easier to find accidental inaccessible area in young worlds.
