in 1.2.5, modded minecraft was more EE2 plus some other stuff to do when you have infinite EMC.

That's why I amended all the other very major mods to "and such"

Yeah, about the same for me. IIRC my first major update was the halloween update. I remember being the first person to manage to get the recipe for the clock onto the wiki (finding out what it was the instant the update came out)...

Only? I remember being in the first SMP test ever, and before that there was Indev. I miss the sky islands.

Oh, and before THAT there was the free, browser-based, creative-only multiplayer. The lava survival servers were fun.

But no, I suppose not. Movies are what I would assume are some of the only things able to make you feel both ancient and freakishly new, depending on which ones you look at.

Well I'm playing on FTB horizon and am noticing that when I die, some of my items disappear. I turn on the magnet from NEI to make sure I'm not missing anything and fly around but nothing. Anyone know why this is happening?

Also, for anyone using both betterchests and mystcraft, they don't play well. Do NOT try to autosort pages in chests. Your game will crash.

Anyone ever had it where the sound just doesn't play? Appears to be an issue with OpenAL being passed an invalid device. I've tried launching Minecraft by the default launcher, ATLauncher and the FTB launcher. No luck in all cases, sound just doesn't load.

I've googled it and seen a lot of people with similar issues and none of the 'fixes' have helped. Anyone got any idea?

Usually, I have that problem when my internet fails to connect with the Minecraft servers. Perhaps that could be one reason?

I had that problem once. Same error and everything. Unfortunately I can't help you much because it mysteriously fixed itself after about 48 hours.
