There, I copy and pasted all of my posts here to get rid of the argument at the beginning.
So far, my suggestion games have died off quickly, but no more, as we are going many, many, many years into the future of Earth. Nuclear war has caused extreme mutation in many peoples cells, causing a zombie apocalypse that reverted humanity from technology such as genetic manipulation, giving humans a gene that works sort of like magic, to the medieval technologies, and whatever can be scavenged from the past. Most of the zombies have now been killed off, though rogue technologic A.I. beasts remain, along with mutated, or even evolved forms, of modern animals. Continental drift has run rampant, Europe and North America are one continent, and all continents now know nothing of eathother, until the next Columbus travels the seas. Amerup, as the collision is called, is made up of two countries, The New United States of Amerup, and Westlands, which are at war with eachother, N.U.S.A, on the defensive against the aggressive Westlands. The continent is also divided into several regions, Wasteland, Swampland, Woodland, Banland, Coldland, Grassland, and Highland.
Before the world went on it's downward spiral, advances were made, such as colonization(Mars and Venus are populated, but serve no purpose in gameplay, as the war plagued and reverted them to medieval also), and making it so that the sun will never die. Now the continent of Amerup has two countries, and a rogue group that call themselves the "Widow" that claim that the continent is rightfully theirs.
We'll start the game here, so this will have a more detailed description, if you want more information on other areas, you'll have to ask in game locals. Wasteland is what's left of current Florida, climate change due to continental drift have left it a sand desert with rolling dunes everywhere. It hasn't ever rained here in 200 years, and all water comes from extremely deep wells and using coal mined from the black mountains, a mountain chain that formed, separating Wasteland and the more hospitable areas to the North. Lighting coal under a bucket of salt water, and having a rock pipe connecting to a clean water catching other bucket. The life of a Wastelander is hard, but no one ever leaves, though The New United States want them to so that they can use the area for unreleased purposes.
Woodland-Contains the capitol of N.U.S.A and is heavily forested. (current Europe and East coast of the U.S)
Grassland-site of frequent battles, being the border between the two countries (U.S. Great Plains)
Swampland-it's a swamp, owned by N.U.S.A mostly, but a small slice belongs to Westlands. (Texas and Mexico)
Highlands-mountainous, and has the capitol of Westlands. (Rocky Mountain areas)
Banland-Heavily forested taiga, entrance to this region is strictly forbidden by anyone, and saying you went there, EVEN AS A JOKE, is punishable by death in both nations (Southern Canada)
Coldland-Frozen tundra, lies beyond Banland. What could be here? (North Canada, eh?)
You wake up, covered completely in sand and a pretty bad gash in your head, possibly causing a lack of memory you are currently experiencing, a few supplies lie around you, a backpack, and a bow but no arrows unfortunately. You look up and see that you are in a cave. You hear footsteps above you.
All you can find is a backpack, a bow without arrows, and a dagger. You then travel up a bit, and the cavern spirals up to above where you started. A female voice can be heard around the corner, mumbling to herself. The exit is past her, but the wind you heard was a sandstorm raging outside.
Instead of bumping when I don't get posts, I'm starting to feel as though I should continue on the story without suggestion. Automatic "cut scenes" if you will. Does anyone agree with this without posts? Or no timelimit for an automatic continuation of the story?
