She's just having her mid life crisis. What with being a female member of a species driven to evil and cruelty, that has serious issues with insecurity and infertility and all--  rather than become typical babysnatcher, she suffered a different kind of biological imperitive, and is just trying to prove how worthy of being wenched she still is in goblin society.

But then you went and made her angry, and now 'Its ON!".
