How do you transfer saves between the different versions, if possible? Because I've got this awesome fortress, but it's on .33g, and I want it for .38c. Thanks.

Not sure if they are compatible.  Someone else knows.  But to transfer any saved game, you just have copy the save file from wherever you have it backed up, and paste it in the active DF folder.

Even if the save is partly compatible, I don't think the new features in the new version will be available in your old game.
