The story of the five dwarves of The Collosi, sent down the pits of Hell to conquer all they find there for the glory of all dwarves.-----
Prologue
The dwarves of The Works of Parity had ambition, unparalleled by any being on the face of Enonra. Since the dawn of time in 1 the Mountainhome of Gildmines was paved with gold and precious metals, the fortress was a fountain of wealth.
Until, in 497, this all changed.
The goblins, with their envy, strove to obliterate the dwarves, especially the scar on their world that was The Works of Parity.
Their sieges had proved all but useless until this year, this year they had prepared. A pact with the denizens of Hell had been made and the goblins had been blessed with artifacts of great power. With these they laid siege upon Gildmines one last time, and they overran and ransacked it.
Not all was lost, however, one hundred dwarves escaped into the mountains and carved out a new civilisation in hiding from the goblins. The goblins searched, but did not succeed in destroying The Works.
500 was the Year of Reckoning. The dwarves had made their preparations and were ready to reveal themselves to the world.
A militia of 500 dwarves, one for every year The Works had survived, was ready for combat to take back Gildmines; these 500 were accompanied by 50 legendary miners, 40 masons, and 10 mechanics and siege engineers and operators. This would either be their last stand or their greatest victory.
This force of 600 marched on. Halfway through spring they arrived at the gates. In true dwarven fashion an exploding barrel of alcohol alerted the occupiers to their presence.
After a few minutes a goblin yelled out through the fortifications to speak their purpose.
"Scum, we have come for our home. The dwarves have been shamed enough by your people. Gildmines shall no longer be held captive and shall return to glory. This is revenge, make a stand before we force you to!" Was the reply.
On that the miners were given the order to dig for the fortress. Cover was erected for marksdwarves, siege weapons were rolled into place. The battle was on.
Over the next day many dwarven lives were lost, history was made as the greatest battle of the age was fought and won by the dwarves, much celebration was had by all not goblin. Over the coming years The Works of Parity sent out their armies to stamp out all the goblins of Enonra.
In summer 502 six goblins were brought in chains to the Mountainhome. They were stripped of their armour and weapons and in rags. These were the confirmed Six, The Adorned Six that ensured the goblins success. They were all taken in their sleep from their barracks two months prior. They were to be executed. The goblins would be no more threat.
-----
"This is Slade, I cannot think of anything else like it," said the dwarf tasked with analysing the armour of The Adorned Six.
"That is impossible. Dwarven hands, let alone those of a goblin, could not work Slade even if they tried." Replied the overseer of the project.
"This is Slade, feel it, weigh it, take a pickaxe to it if you want, this is definitely Slade and there is no doubting it."
"Then who forged it so finely and set it into adamantine armour?"
"Well, where does Slade come from?"
"The depths."
"Indeed, it is highly probable that these are demon forged."
-----
This information was relayed to the king.
"Stay quiet on your findings, who knows what would happen if the world found out that the demons were making moves, the night creatures and other horrors might make a resurgence. If the demons are backing the goblins then we must take them at the source before we are driven out again."
