He tiptoes to the door, and peeks ever so slightly through the hole.

You can only see a thin slit of light seeping from the other side, and the view of a dirty stone wall.

Sure enough, 15 minutes later, you can hear the Orcish fellow tromping back toward you. He's grumbling to himself in a nearly incoherent fashion.

"Erg, hate guard duty. Only two people in the whole block, anyway...they'll be cheap beast chow in a few hours, so why the bother...eh, I work too hard...should ash Craw for time off...hah!"

Fairin peeks up to the hole and casts sleep on the guard.

If there're rolls for that they'll involve the guard's stats, which I don't know. Even if I did, I'd probably screw it up.
