Heat-Resisting Dog [Spoliers?]
« on: June 21, 2013, 09:08:34 pm »

I released the HFS becuase everything was falling apart anyways. As I watched my Fortress succumb to the Demons one came face-to-face with a dog outside my walls. It then started blast the dog with fire. Only, it never lit on fire. Its been doing this for nearly 5 in-game months now. The dog is completely un-harmed.

Has anyone seen this happen before?

Is temperature turned off in the ini?

Fire won't cause injuries if temperature is turned off. Dwarves can go for a lavabath the same way.

Look at the combat (r)eport.

Maybe the dog is super excellent at dodging the fire breath?

Outdoor temperature seems to affect how easily things ignite to some degree, is this happening in the middle of winter?

SOmetimes there are those weird super-survivors. I had once a child who dodged demon punches and kicks for many months until he passed out from over-exertion...
