I said it in the other thread, and I'll repeat it here. Those spent fuel basins aren't that dangerous. The Casks in which they're kept are strong enough whistand an explosion, and will contain the radioactive material for a long enough time to repair the basins. The radioactive decay doesn't produce nearly enough heat to melt the radioactive materials, let alone vaporize them. The only radioactive gasses would be vaporizing water, and the air. Cooling them back down would produce a significant amount of radioactive steam, but that isn't that much of  problem.

Danger of radioation is gravely overstated after all.

So well, all in all, it would be an incident on the scale of Tsernobyl. Which is fairly manageable. I mean, total area irradiated was limited, and After all, the total deaths of Tsernobyl incident, according to the WHO, are less than 10 000.

I have a feeling that this document you're basing yourself on was published by Greenpace, or some other "Green" organization.

The primary reason cracking open the isotopes for the Tejekov Nuclear Power Station could result in a scenario that's worse then Chernobyl is primarily because Tejekov is awful at maintaining nuclear power plants and it's even older then Chernobyl was, so the consquences could be even worse. Though I don't know much about nuclear power plants.

Being older than Tsernobyl could make the disaster less dangerous actually. Because well, it's one of the oldest designs. An earlier reactor would be a type I, which logically would be smaller and incapable of actually outputting power;

And well, the RMBK's are terribly designed. You'd have to do a serious effort to do worse.

Also cracking open isotopes is not a thing. After all, everything in the world is made of isotopes. (Well, inducing spontaneous fission in stuff at will would make a dangerous weapon.)

Well, my mistake, then.

@HumanElf So, how would you distrubute the care packages?

I say we start spreading rumors about people that are "capitalist" that believe this country should be more like the USA. These rumors should be aimed at people who are in important positions. Then pay off certain people to plant evidence to support these rumors(there is always people that envy of their position with money being some extra motivation). The goal here is to get the ministries to fight amongst themselves, creating so much fighting internally they won't be able to "sufficiently" operate. However we should put majority of our focus on the ministries that focus on intelligence gathering so they won't notice some implanted people used to quell rebellions disappear. We can probably do this by providing misinformation and implanted evidence so the Ministry of the Interior will be killing of their own people.

I say we pull something out of V for Vendetta. Is there an Old Bailey lying around?

By air. If they're as incompetent as you say, their air defences amount to three lawn darts and two slingshots they don't have any ammo for.

Look at their military stats. They may not have much, but they put a lot of emphasis on their military.

And then if they shot down our planes they'd be risking war.

Win win situation.

Actually, once you deliever the packages, there isn't anything stopping them from destroying the packages once they land. Belarus did that once, I believe, but it was teddy bears filled with anti-government protests. They just made it illegal to take them and shot the crap out of them.

And then if it was food, risk an uprising.

They MAY kill everyone, but that just lets everyone else march in to keep the peace.
