It's like he forgot how to eat
« on: June 18, 2013, 05:36:16 pm »

I'm having a bit of a scare right now, my recent migrant turned legendary armorsmith (fey mood) is hungry thirsty and drowsy.  He has fish in his hand and is listed as "eat" in the jobs menu.  All he is doing is running back and forth along the row of thrones and table in my dining room, not eating.  wtf.  I tried freeing him from the eat job, nada.  I really want to keep this idiot to make some shiny armor but he's about to die in the dining room holding his own fucking dinner.  Any suggestions?

I ended up removing all the tables in the dining room, then he was instantly fed. Fucking strange dwarf.

He couldn't decide which throne he liked most.

Someone needs to make a thread compiling all of the... intricacies... of dwarven society and social interactions.

I mean, there was already a thread like that a year ago and I haven't the heart to necro it, but it had an excellent reason for why dwarves like socks so much that they'll die to collect them.

Choosing the proper throne to eat a fish at belongs there, I think.

PS: Seriously, you must have, like, super-getting-lost skills. You could go missing in a straight corridor and impale yourself on flat ground if I don't tell you where to go.
