Weird Farmer Movement
« on: June 02, 2013, 12:17:01 pm »

This has happened to all of my past forts, and usually I didn't mind it but in this fort I want everything to be efficient, productive, safe, and perfect. The farmers are preventing this;
Whenever the farmers finish planting a new seed, they run maybe 15-30 tiles towards the meeting area, (or the wagon in my new fort) and then get a ? above their had. They then proceed to turn back around and go and plant another seed at the farms. This has been happening to all my farmers, in the past and present. Any suggestions on how to stop this?

Thanks in Advance--

The only difference between a human student and a dwarf is that dwarfs have the ability to create and destroy matter.
So will the dwarf with the broken spine recover and use a crutch?

Do you have more than one farm plot?

I understand that it is disappointing when a dwarf makes a spiked loincloth instead of an axe.

Sounds like standard dwarf behavior to me.  Best I've been able to do is move the meeting area to make them stand where I need work done.

Sorry for the long delay.
Yes, I have multiple Farm Plots, but they are RIGHT next to each other.
