So, anyone heard of Primal Carnage? Currently, there's the current released version, a dino-vs-human multiplayer for PC (sort of like team fortress plus dinosaurs on one team). However, there's recently been an announcement of a prequel for PS4 and PC, Primal Carnage: Genesis.
So, if anyone loves dahrnosauwrs, HERE IS YOUR GAME BEEPERS.

Game where you control non-human non-vehicle things are always an interesting thing, but I never got around to trying Primal Carnage. From what I hear the tactic for humans is: all bunch up in one spot, preferably on high ground and camp for victory. It's a shame, I wonder if they did anything to fix it.

From watching videos dinosaur movement (at least the rexes) looked a bit wonky, it's probably tough getting such a large thing to move fluidly while keeping the player in control.

... but yeah, singleplayer huh? Does that mean singleplayer only?

Humans are more defensive than dinosaurs, since they're ranged. It's not really camping, since charging off on your own is a near-sure way to get yourself killed. And there's always Get to the Chopper, too.
For the EXTREME examples (under the crate in Docks, on rocks in Falls), they've been fixed.

Dino movement is usually quite smooth (or, at least, smoother than the rivals right now). Most videos don't really give you a feeling on how responsive the controls are. Rexes, yeah, big turning circle.

For Genesis, yeah. It isn't confirmed whether it's human-class only, despite what people may say.

A bunch of my steam friends convinced me to buy this game when it was on sale for $5. We all played a couple hours over 2 days and then never touched it again. The controls are not nearly tight enough to be a satisfying multiplayer game. Either everybody runs around with no idea what's happening, or dinosaurs basically rush and flail while humans stand in a circle and point and shoot. It's not terribad but it's nothing particularly engaging, in my opinion. It would have been really promising if I were playing an alpha build.

Colour me skeptical regarding the prequel.
