Bridge height and lengths
« on: May 21, 2013, 12:34:12 pm »

Does the length  of the bridge affect how tall it will be when you activate the bridge so that it is closed? So if for example you had a bridge that is 3 tiles long in a one layer high hallway, what happens to the bridge?

While I believe this is an intended feature for the future, it's not currently implemented - a bridge, no matter how long, currently raises into a 1-level tall wall.

it's quantum dwarf physics, don't try to understand it, just accept it as it is. It's related to being able to stuff unlimited creatures in a cage, unlimited dragons standing on one tile as long as one is standing and the rest crouching, a dragon fully occupying a square that a dwarf can also fully occupy (relative size... didn't know how to say it), creatures too big to be atom smashed being smashable when in a cage and atom smashing itself for that matter

Sometimes it's just weird, but that's one of the fun parts

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

Change your picture now! I had it before you did!
I went on this thread and then saw the picture and was thinking, "I swear I didn't make this thread..."
Well I was right....

The only difference between a human student and a dwarf is that dwarfs have the ability to create and destroy matter.
So will the dwarf with the broken spine recover and use a crutch?
