Hey, so I just had this idea for training, that if you find a book and read it, and roll a 4-6 you get that skill. It may not be physical stuff like firing a gun, but identifying plants and stuff like that. Does that sound good? It's sortof like Last Stand: Union City, if any of you have played that flash game.

That sounds pretty good, although it might make libraries a bit unbalanced.

Continue working on barricading the front area, taping (sure, look for tape) paper to the windows if that's all that remains to do to make this entranceway seem uninteresting to the average 'zombie on the street' as it were.  Encourage those with me to help.
