Hello to everyone that still enjoys playing this wonderful classic game, several of us at the EFS Steam Group are starting a new PBEM game and are looking for committed players to join, if you are interested please send me an email at bryanjosephmills@gmail.com.

Also, here is the link to the Emperor Wars Mod, (in it's final version a combination of EFS 1.4, Reality Mod, and Emperor Wars) if you have any problems running it please let me know.

Please remember Emperor Wars is the most advanced Mod out there and the Church, League, and Symbiots are really aggressive but it is a lot of fun.

I forgot the mention the House selection is on a first come first serve basis, and since posting we have had Hazat, Hawkwood, and Al-Malik taken by players.  Decados and Li Halan are still open to committed interested players.

I thought I would provide some background on the Reality and Emperor Wars Mod.

I loved playing EFS back in 1997, and really enjoyed the Nova patch.

In 2012, I rediscovered and first found that someone had created the Reality Mod, which included units from the Emperor of the Fading Suns Books printed by Holistic Design.

It included new units such as the Vorox, Brother Battle, Sanctuary Aeon, etc.

This got me to thinking wouldn't it be great to have a Historical Game map based on the Emperor of the Fading Suns Books "Survey of the Known Worlds"

So, I went to work with the EFS Map Editor making the Historical Map that I also wanted, which includes all of the details and accurate landmarks for each Known World.  After weeks and editing I finished Emperor Wars.

It is a combination of Reality and an accurate Historical Map of the Known Worlds.

It sounds like a very interesting mod. I'd like to try it out, but probably not in the near term. We have a pretty epic EFS game going on right now that's either going to result in one of the players winning the game in the next ten years, or perhaps the game's dissolution if he fails and players don't see themselves participating in the game until the end of time.

Sure, I know how that is we are coming to the close of our first game of Emperor Wars, and I am hoping to get this next one started soon.
