I tried a few Google searches and couldn't find anything.

I try to start DFhack, and it appears on the screen for like a tiny fraction of a second and then closes.  There's a line of text but it's not on screen for long enough to read.  Happens when I try to start it either on its own or when DF launches.

How do I fix that?

Did you copy all files in df folder and overwrite when prompted? Also you cannot start it on its own, it starts itself when you launch df.
