Converting DF maps to Anvil (Minecraft map format)

I was wondering if it is possible to convert DF maps to Anvil format, and how hard would it be? I know that one old DF to Minecraft converter, but it doesen't work in current releases. Is there any way to play DF maps in Minecraft for now?

There is no currently working utility, but someone with the skills could make one, probably.
