personal problems
« on: March 22, 2013, 03:49:35 pm »

Hey, I don't reall post on the forums all that much, but it seems that im in need of anonymous advice, because im afraid of the things that people i know to me say, because usually it hurts.

I would say that i am suffering from depression, but I haven't seen a doctor about it. Ive had it in the past (when i was 15 16) but ive now been uncontrollably emotional for the past 3 years, dealing with some drinking problems and a period of substance abuse along the way. It all stems from a bad relationship I had at the start of university, it has left me with no self confidence around the ladies (couldn't think of another way to say it) and with anything for that matter. I have trouble sleeping, making proper meals and remembering things, plus i can't seem to keep track of my food budgets. Should I see a doctor? Can anyone offer any advice?

I have trouble
Then you should, indeed, see a doctor. If you have problems that interfere with your life and you cannot fix them yourself - that's a big part of what the docs are there for.

I won't try to give specific advice, as I screw up my own life; but if you are able to, you should talk to a doctor. At the very least, they can tell you what's probably wrong rather briefly.

Should I see a doctor?
Yup, the moment you have to ask yourself that question it's better to do so.

I think it's probably best if you go to a doctor. It doesn't sound like you could get out of this by yourself.
Of course it's not guaranteed that he's able to help you, but you can at least try.

Yeah, this looks like it's doctor time.
