Might still be one of your back molars, near the salivary glands. My brother had an abscessed tooth, and described a similarly persisting but admittedly much more horrible taste.

Or it could be your cerebrospinal fluid leaking into your sinuses :D This happened to someone I worked with, hit their head fairly lightly on a cabinet in the right spot, had a 'runny nose' for a while, and ended up hospitalized weeks later due to infection. I'd get it checked out, your meningeal layer is surprisingly fragile.
The incident of head bumping the OP described is no worse than what happens dozens of times during your typical high school football game.  IF the following symptoms exist and persist, medical assistance should be sought: repeated vomiting, worsening headache, dizziness, seizure activity, excessive drowsiness, double vision, slurred speech, unsteady walk, or weakness or numbness in arms or legs.
Football players have helmets and are still treated comparably often for head injury, it would be utterly foolish to dismiss the symptoms of CSF leak from an unprotected injury because they're willing to take the risk.

I'm sure it isn't the tooth problem. Even if I clench my teeth as much as possible, nothing happens. The taste is strictly in cases where adrenine is produced. When scared, when racing, when excited. All I can think is I've broken my brain to make adrenalin have a taste. If you're interested, it isn't a nice taste. :D

It wasn't particularly hard, and yet I got a nasty taste in my mouth after doing it.
I get this ALL THE TIME, started about two years ago after my bed collapsed with me in it, and I - guess what - bumped my head.  At this time I also had the pleasure of having two of my rear molars filled in (they have to inject you THREE TIMES with anaesthetic, and it doesn't even kick in until they actually start drilling.) so I asked Doc Dentist, and he said it's either permanent damage to taste buds (e.g. from biting your tongue) or the head trauma has agitated your salivary glands, so they sneak some puss in with your saliva (bastards.)...  But all in all, nothing to worry about.

  HURRAY!

Does it taste delicious? Maybe you should hit your head again...?

No. It doesn't taste much like it, and happens much too quickly, even with the smallest bump.

Unfortunately not, although tasting cake every time I hit my head would be amazing.
