Tried the game, was lagging like no tomorrow. Tried the game again in the early morning as far away from primtime as possible, was still lagging like it was going out of style.
Movement was mostly rubberbanding around, combat was about striking whenever there was a split moment of no lagg. I quit the game in disgust, sorry.  :(

Did it take anyone 30 minutes just to get to character creation? This is just horrible.  ???

Honestly this game sounds pretty terrible.  Typical Korean MMO, rolling for silly shit, apparently big on pay2win, possibly lying in the features list (They said permadeath, which is only sort of true, there's no mention of the actual system in hte steam store page), which is probably why it was removed from the store.

It's remove from steam because their system can't handle the sheer volume of people from the largest digital distribution network.

Permadeath creeps in at higher levels when you actually have shit that matters and plenty of shit that will kill you.

Okay, I've faffed about with this for quite a while and am ready to sort of give it a general overview:

The good:
- I like the combat system. It's actually quite dynamic and sort of fun.
- No auto-regen HP. Although that is sort of a big lie.
- Finally, a permadeath MMO.
- Yay, free-for-all PVP!
- You can move past zombies

The Bad:
- The visuals. Oooh, the visuals. They're incredibly dull. Everything's so... modern FPS-ish, with incredible amounts of dirty white, brown (ARMOK'S BEARD, THE BROWN), metallic gleams and a tiny smidgen of black (although it might just be incredibly dark brown). I mean, no matter how mis-matched or silly the WoW armors looked, at least they had some character to them. Here, it's generic all the way, because there's no way someone could take perma-death seriously whilst wearing something with more colour than the inside of a leather accessory shop.

The weird (a.k.a. I can't decide where to put it):
- the respawn system. While not entirely bad, and not entirely good either, it's pretty much... unique. It's nice that it doesn't smack new players in the face and make the game something they'd rather avoid by giving them the option of not losing their precious epic items and hero, I was promised permadeath, which means I want my character dead once he's dead. Saying "Permadeath" on the game page could almost be classified as false advertising, as it should read: "A chance of permadeath". So, yeah, I'm sticking this in the "weird" part of my overview.

But I found the game to be somewhat enjoyable, if not what i've expected.

I keep hoping for a game like wizardry 8 or wizardry 7. It's just not up there.
(Complain complain)
They do own the name now.
Game. Not. Same. Or close.

News organizations mention that wizardry was well liked for being hardcore. I mean it was a bit serious but tons of jokes and theme backed it. Now the races are so similar they look ugly. And it's an entirely different ip. Also, glowy particle effect is not enough to carry combat. Seriously.

I'm curious, is there anything resembling an open world later? It was just teleporting between the large towncity and quest destinations for the part I played (up to and including the sewers, which were just filled with players on release day, and if the later areas were anything like this there would be no way to avoid getting PKed by higher-level people)

Also, so very generic and disappointing (the feel of the game world, etc).

It seems that the website has a region lock, is it inside the game too?

Anyone still playing this? Was messing around with it a bit the other day. Made a dwarf rogue and got through the first dungeon and made it to level 6. Mostly playing PS2 but I might play this more if there are folks to play with.

First game in my history i uninstalled it after 10 minutes.
Fighting and moving around felt funny and whole game acted too console alike.
I might give it second chance if we get some group to play with though :)

Edit: Gave 2nd try and actually it is kinda fun :)
