Elf Fandwarf?

So, I have this fortress, going pretty good.
I have one problem, however:
My Engraver continually engraves this Elf killing a Dingo. EVERYWHERE.
How do I stop this without accidents, as he's Legendary?

Your world must not have a lot of exciting things in it yet. Is one of his favorite things either Dingos or Elves?

If all else fails, just stage some epic death-related event in your fort, and maybe he'll switch subjects. Maybe build a combat arena and pit your soldiers against captive critters and enemy troops?

You could retire the fortress using dwarfhack and reclaim it after doing some adventuring in the area, giving him more interesting things to carve.

you can't stop this, he don't have anything else to carve, how old is your world? it happens often in 5 years old worlds.
If you want to make he carve something else, make something awsome! Turn your militia commander into a legendary axedwarf and send him to kill an entire siege, one handed, and return alive with a 200 globins kill list!

I can't help myself thinking putting that dwarf to arena with elves and dingoes. THERE'S ELVES AND DINGOES FOR YOU, DWARF!

It is weird that legendary engraver engraves only one picture all the times. How long have your fort been running?
