Pitting a Captured Werebeast
« on: March 07, 2013, 06:52:32 pm »

On my hands I've gotten a dwarf peasant who is not a member of my fortress. He came as a wereskink and got stuck in a cage trap, I want to use him as a practice dummy for my melee squads but I cannot seem to remove him from the cage. I cannot assign him to a Pen/Pasture when he is in dwarf form and am unsure about pasturing him in wereskink form. Is there any way to get him out of the cage? I've tried building the cage and linking it to a lever to no avail.

EDIT:
In wereskink form I can pasture him.

How did this not work? You linked the cage to the lever, pulled the lever, and he stayed inside?

Also, does he stay in the pasture once he's back in dwarf form?

Metruption, maybe edit your original subject line as [RESOLVED]? Glad it got sorted.
