(Link to screenshot. Sorry for the clutter, the fullscreen is wonky in Linux.)

Don't Starve, in the words of the creators, is an "uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science & magic". The premise is quite simple, walk around in the wilderness, and try not to die. Of course, it's not as easy as it seems: The world is filled with tentacle swamp monsters, hounds, insanity, and food shortages. Gameplay is mostly point and click, although the keyboard can be used as well. The player walks around the wilderness, collecting different items (such as Grass, Flint, and Twigs) which can then be used to craft more sophisticated items. The world is randomly generated each time you play, so the locations of things will be changed. It's a pretty neat time killer, and only $11 while it is in the beta. There's also a short time-limited demo you can play in the Chrome Web Store, as well.

Currently I have created a suit of logs and a spear, and am waiting for the hounds to spawn so I can get some meat!
