Best/funniest artworks?
« on: February 28, 2013, 05:14:19 pm »

I imagine this has been done before, but I've had some artworks made by my Dwarves that have just really made me laugh in this fort. All the historical ones are either Giant Lions brutally killing Humans or Elves, or my Dwarves murdering Goblins. Over and over again.

But my favourite two so far have been these ones, which don't even make sense since my fort hasn't seen any slugs or slugmen at all:

Also had a rather awesome artifact. Not only is it named "Fadescar" and describes a cooly-named battle with the Goblins ("THE MOLTEN ATTACK"), but it's also decorated with Giant Rat bone from the dead Goblin steeds and has a borderline metaphorical image of a Giant Rat bone cage on it too :D

In those first two engravings, the dorfs depicted hate/like slugs/slugmen. Preferences are fodder for artwork.

Somewhere around my fortress is an engraving of a dwarf embracing a fly. I can't imagine that going well.

Got to love engravings of a dwarf engraving. Usually a self-portrait as well.

Hammerstar needs to start a war badly...
