I can already hear you asking,
"What's this?"And to that, the answer is simple: It's...
Igloo's Box of !!FUN!! Initial ReleaseScreenshotsThis is a collection of mods I have made so far, all available for you to use! Pick any you want; but first, let's go over the features of each mod!
FEATURES:A horse-like creature with a spiral horn containing magical milk growing from its forehead.
Unicorns are already infamous for being one of the latest kings of beasts; but there's not much to do with them. Now, however, you can use their awesome power to your advantage! In this mod, unicorns become tamable and trainable, they can brought in cages by hippie elf caravans, and can even be milked for magical milk, which can then be made into magical cheese. Eat the magical cheese, and you'll get a fascinating surprise!
To download, simply replace the original unicorn raws (in the creature_standard file) with those of the mod's. Then get ready to capture (or trade for) some unicorns!
A colossal, scaly, amphibious predator found dwelling all across the world. Its bites contain an extremely potent acid.
A fearsome new megabeast arrives to deliver !!FUN!! in this mod; no matter if you're at land or sea, you're never safe from the Leviathan! Slay one for great rewards; but tame one, and you will have an incredible ally...
To install, paste the raws into the creature_standard notepad file, then save it. Then enjoy dealing with a brand new beast!
Original idea by Imperial Guardsman.
A much simpler mod; have you ever looked at your dwarves' or adventurer's crossbow(s), and wondered, Man, how cool would it be if you could stab someone with these?"
Well, now YOU CAN!
Recent dwarven technology (read: sticking swords and/or daggers onto crossbows) now allows you to stab people to death with nothing but a crossbow!
To install, paste the raws into the item_weapon notepad file, then save it. Then go berserk and stab people with crossbows!
Original idea by Imperial Guardsman.
Cestuses were pretty much the boxing gloves of ancient times, except they were made of leather straps and were a lot deadlier, sometimes even having blades on them. Now, here they are in Dwarf Fortress for you to beat the crap out of your enemies 'specially those filthy hippies with, in both normal and bladed form!
To install, paste the raws into the item_weapon notepad file, then save it. Then go berserk and punch (or stab) people with ancient boxing gloves!
Original idea by Hugehead.
A small, amphibious humanoid that likes to play pranks on others; sometimes for fun, sometimes out of malevolence.
Do you like Kobolds? Do you hate Kobolds? Well, now you'll like/hate them even more with Kappas. Effectively aquatic Kobolds, Kappas are much more common, and can be found in all temperate and tropical rivers and lakes. Unlike Kobolds, however, they can be tamed! So if you've ever dreamed of having a Kobold pet in your fortress - well, it's not exactly a Kobold, but it's close enough!
To install, paste the raws into the creature_large_riverlake notepad file, then save it. Then have fun dealing with aquatic kobolds!
